The CLUE model is solely used for scientific purposes. Making the software available to third parties is not allowed, each applicant should fill the application form individually. Also in case of intended applications outside the registered application a new request should be submitted.

Do not publish adapted versions of CL
UE with a model name that relates to the CLUE model in order to avoid confusion between different versions of the model. Adapted versions should be given a new name that can easily be distinguished from the original name.

In any publication or project proposal where the model is mentioned proper reference should be made to the publications related to the version of the model that is used in the publication:

The model or its derivatives may not be used for any commercial purpose, including the incorporatation/linking of the model to commercial software packages that may be used commercially.

The developer and all others involved with the CLUE model development are never responsible for any damage by direct or indirect use of the CLUE model.

The developer of the CLUE model is not able to provide technical support for the CLUE model apart from the help function and tutorial exercises provided at the website. The user should be aware of this to avoid any disappointment. Only in joint projects support may be provided.
